As one reads Table A-1 in the total participation rate, we can see that people not in the labor force exploded by an unprecedented record 1.2 million just for the month of January
So as the labor force increased from 153.9 million to 154.4 million, those not in the labor force surged from 86.7 million to 87.9 million.
Which means that the civilian labor force tumbled to a fresh 30 year low of 63.7% as the BLS is seriously planning on eliminating nearly half of the available labor pool from the unemployment calculation
Now if one looks more deeply into Table A-1 and then to Table A-6

and lastly to Table A-9, one sees it is workers over 55 are a growing percentage of the labor force while those under 65 are declining in percentage of the labor force.
Also as one continues to peruse Table A-9, once can see the numbers of full-time and part-time jobs creatd. 80k full time jobs and 699k part-time jobs. That means only 10% of the jobs created were full-time jobs ( ie real jobs).
One has to wonder how many of the 699k part-time jobs were holiday related????
And for those who are asking, so what is the real unemployment number if the 8.xxx number pushed by government is profanity???
The answer is , if one counted unemployment like FDR did then it would be 23%
