Same here. and i will mention that all of their dogs are Labs.

Scarlet Fire Rose

Lab/Cattle dog mix

She had a bath, a de-worming, and nail clipping as soon as we got her home. She is a little on the thin side, but otherwise appears to be in good health. She has the lab shape, cattledog coloring. Her sister had the dark cattle dog face, and bigger paws but another lady picked her out first.

paw size doesn't make her a runt.

She is a mix of two of the top ten dogs on intelligence, and will get of a size that will be muscular with a lower center of gravity.

and my mom has been raising red heelers for years, if she doesn't work out for some reason as a service dog she will still have a forever home.

Smart dog, I call him my "12 hour dog" aka he can lie around the house for 12 hours without needing to go outside...

You're looking at ~ 50 pounds here, and no, not small paws. Depends on if they get their height from cattle dog or from the lab.

She has already bonded to my daughter, she's already being protective. I made sure that she uses her forceful voice instead of sympathetic like you would with a baby... trying to make sure she doesn't get confused about who is the pack leader.
