I catch my own. Never and I mean never have I bought any seafood from a store. It far too easy for me to get it myself and have it fresher.

What they eat isn't appetizing at all. They will eat living and dead plants and animals/crustaceans smaller than themselves. They are usually at the bottom of the sea and that is where they get their food.
Shrimp are actually non-benthic swimmers that exist primarily on continental shelves... not "the bottom of the sea..." You will hardly ever find them out of the euphotic zone.
