the savings you will get are minimal. a 100 watt light bulbs that burns 7 hours a day @ 9 cents/kilowat hour uses .06 cents of electricty a day. in your case times 10 is .60 cents a day. minimal difference.
I sell electrical supplies for a living if you need references.

If you really want to save money in the long run, you want to buy more expensive bulbs.
They are making really cool ultra low wattage L.E.D. bulbs now that make the flourescents look like energy easters, and provide par or greater lumen output with ten times the life of a standard incandescant bulb.
The difference you pay in price for the bulbs, is less than what you will save over the course of the years of using indancescant bulbs.
And btw, you're not "saving wattage" you're drawing less amperage.

correct which in turn makes your meter spin less which makes the bill go down. Enegry bills are based off kilowatt hours. which is why I used them in my example.
