So I took the old G110 apart for its semi-regular cleaning and ended up with a screw left over, lol. Considering there are like three dozen screws in the bastard I don't think this one will be missed.

I will always try to fix something myself. If it somehow ends up being a bigger job than I thought, I call my dad, or my son's dad if it involves crawling under the house.

Most things around the house I'm not afraid to tackle, troubleshoot, repair, or replace. Doing something a little bigger is daunting, but not impossible: replacing the flooring in the kitchen with hardwood, replacing the bathroom tile, etc.
Building computers, and most things electrical is fine - I have some good Navy training in electronics and some good troubleshooting skills because of doing that for several years. I've built over a dozen computers from scratch and upgraded tons of times.
Automobiles, however, are another story. I'd love a classic ('65 or '66) Mustang, but I wouldn't know how to rebuild a carburetor to save my life, nor could I pound out/Bondo a dent. In fact, I've got a 2001 Chevy Cavalier Z24 that has a flashing check engine light and while the code reader says "Misfire detected" I don't know what else I can do to fix it. I've already replaced the spark plugs, no help.
I could, however, read up on how to replace a front door, and do it, if needed.

Originally trained as an electronics technician so very comfortable around that type of thing. Picked up a lot of electrician skills along the way so comfortable with that also. Raised by a dad that was extremely handy around construction type work (and took me along when old enough) and was an avid carpenter by hobby so I picked up a little of that. I am pretty confident around most types of projects and if I can't figure it out and fix it, I probably have a friend that can.

I am a jack of all trades. I can do just about everything I set my mind to as long as you wanted average standards. If you want above average i'll do some research and get it done. I can sew, cook, do plumbing, electrical work, house hold repair, car repair, and make a hell of a cup of coffee.
Never figured out love though.

I can do anything if I need to. My husband and I have done extensive home remodeling so I am very comfortable with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Same. Dad was an electrician and my ex is the son of a general contractor who used to build race cars in his spare time. I learned a lot from them both.

My grandfather was an automechanic, both my dad and uncle can pretty much fix/do anything (those two alone built my uncle's house), and we're all pretty natural when it comes to those sorts of things. My grandmother is an excellent seamstress.
Runs in the family, I guess.
