turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.

Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.

It depends on how you look at it.

I owe about 140k on my house.. which is worth probably 180ish right now. So, 40k from that. I have over 25k in my 401k, I have a few grand in the bank and possessions.

If I had to liquidate all of my collectible things I could probably get about 10k from all of that so I'm going to have to go with around 100-250k range

My debts outside of my house?

under 2k for student loans. under 2k for a loan on my Tempurpedic bed. no credit card debt

I'd say 10-50k range. Between IRS debt and my house losing value it ain't much but it isn't near as bad as it could be, heh.

i think my most expensive asset is my 3 yr old computer? maybe my guitar. my student loan debt is greater than my savings + assets

That was true for many of us, certainly for me, I just wish I hadn't paid off the first set early ('75-77), as when I went back to college at 23, I got a 2% higher interest rate on my new loans, than I would have had to pay, if I had my original loan still open.

I got penalized for being over industrious I guess, I was making 11.50 an hour then as a union pay (smith bacon wage act) carpenter in an open shop company.

That is where in a cool twist of fate I also became an assistant engineer on a mid rise (Univ of DC Engineering and Medical Bldg), but I got the kick ass carpenter pay.

I decided after that, to go back to college to become a civil engineer.

You now have the key it is up to you to knock on, unlock, and open the door of opportunity.

It really depends on how much you would value my equity positions in several companies
