It's the Tim Tebow effect, Lin came in with a lot of positive energy and has rallied his team around himself. He's playing with hunger and his team mates suddenly believe they can win games. A lot of people before him have had stretches of games where they've played amazing, I remember Brandon Jennings was supposed to be the second coming after he put up 50+ points in a game. This year it was Norris Cole and Iman Shumpert after a few good games. Now it's Lin.
There's no way he's going to continue putting up 20/8 every game
Yeah except Lin didn't suck when he played.....
Of course he's not going to keep it up (especially when Melo gets back) But his game is actually very solid and is based on decision making, unlike the other few players you listed.
