What is the birth control mandate?

After a google search...

What ever happened to letting businesses make their own decisions and letting the people decide which one
they wanted to use?

It really is damning that they'd run such a "panel" composed entirely of males.

I never knew just how liberal Jon Stewart was....sheesh you would think someone like him would be at least alittle objective. I know he's not like CBS or NBC evening news where they have to be impartial but cmon....

There's nothing he said that is especially liberal. In fact the whole section is basically just a critique of the stupid/extreme rhetoric the right is using. He doesn't cover the actual issue of insurance.

And his critique on the "war on religion" and "this is like Nazi Germany" attitudes are spot on.

I'm not saying he isn't liberal but you don't even seem to get what the clip is about.

None of this would be a problem if we stopped making employers provide health insurance instead of just paying people their salary and letting them buy it themselves.

It's the most stupid controversy the "conservatives" have come up with yet. And that is saying something.

Requiring insurance plans to cover contraceptives isn't new, it's been the law for 30 years now. No one is saying churches have to offer insurance to their employees and that insurance has to cover contraceptives (just like every other insurance plan in the country).

All this is saying is that, just like it is already the law in many, many states, businesses owned by religious institutions (like a lot of hospitals, day care centers, and schools) are not exempt from the law. Any insurance plans offered by them, just like every one else in the country, has to include contraceptive coverage at no added cost. That's it.

Not a fricken war on religion, not an intrusion by the government, just that they have to be just like everyone else. Sheesh.

Please, oh please, oh please, keep bitching about this crap "conservatives". Rick Santorum is against ALL contraceptives, he want's to outlaw condoms. CONDOMS. WTF? Yeah, lets outlaw something that helps prevent millions of diseases a year, not to mention millions of unwanted pregnancies. What a fricken religious nut bag he is.

Oh, Newt want's to outlaw contraceptives as well, he isn't on record, yet, as being against condoms, but I'm sure it's coming. Even Romney is jumping on the band wagon. Who the hell are these people and where the hell do they live that they think people actually want to outlaw contraceptives and get rid of condoms? Fricken insane.

So please, oh please, keep it up.

Insurance will pay for the biggest contraceptive there is... Vasectomy.

The Oatmeal Butterscotch paired with a Snickerdoodle
turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.
