Called it mee-lee for a few years until Super Smash Bros Melee came out and I heard it used frequently. Phonetically I think it should be mee-lee, but it must be one of those weird exceptions in English.

i quoted wrong person.
I say it more like muh-lay or meh-lay because that's how I read it when I was playing AC at 10 years old.
I know it's may-lay, I just refuse to correct myself
