Iran has been selling most of its oil to China and India anyways this doesnt really mean much of anything.

people tend to forget there is only a razor thin margin between production quotas and usage requirements.
libya only supplied like 3-5% of the worlds oil and it spiked oil prices when the revolution started and oil stopped flowing.

gas is averaging $3.51 a gallon, before it was in the $2.50 ish range.
