you would be surprised the people who are influenced politically by watching such shows as The Daily show and ColbertI dont know much about the colbert show since Ive never watched it but I know the daily show has ALWAYS slanted liberal/democrat.(not saying that being liberal/democrat inherently isnt a bad thing) But if you are trying to show the hypocrisy on both sides then thats what you need to do. When you have one story criticizing democrats/liberals and the rest of the show is making fun of conservatives and religious people thats def some political slant.
It's not the show's fault that stupid people can't comprehend that it's not an official news show...

if they tried harder they could probably do a totally unbiased comedy show. but conservatives on television and the news are constantly feeding them lay-up jokes. they aren't going to turn around and try to shoot a three. when you have a day to write material and you have a gold mine like fox news, you're gonna use it.

I don't watch because I don't find them funny. Other people do but they bore me.
