just heard it mentioned on the evening news a bunch of small quakes have started going off up and down the west coast.
and its enough to the experts talking.

anyway, many smaller quakes is a good thing, it releases the pressure in smaller bursts.

Hmm looks like they're mainly at the corner of the Juan De Fuca plate and the Gorda plate, right were it changes from a transform boundary to a subduction zone. Pretty regularly tectonically active area, I'd assume.
