That's what League of Legends is for.
I can't count how many random games I've been in where my team insisted on defending our base and never pushing into theirs. Yes... let's win a game by defending... in a game where the goal is to destroy the enemy base.
If only the game was that simple.
It would work well against a dumb team.
It's far easier to defend than too attack.
Just let them keep pushing until your team is well fed.
The problem...
Is that a good team is going to sit and farm creep while you hide in your base.
No, no... even in LoL a bad team gains on permanent offense. I'm guessing you're lower rank / unrated / or the very lowest of ELO with illegal bots.
I'm going to assume that we agree that hiding in your base is a terrible strategy...
edit: I'm level 12... but I can speak from watching hours of MLG that I've never seen a team sit in the base.

Sitting in base means that the enemy can and will CS, take dragon, take baron, take jungle buffs, and completely screw you over.
Not really an argument.

Figured. You won't see that in even mid-low ELOs when you start getting ranked. And you're not dumb enough to be placed in low ELO. Low ELO is honestly for mentally challenged people and bots, no offense meant to either.

The mere thought of failure in any sense of the word makes me laugh. Nothing pisses me off more than you not understanding why.

I'll listos that for you:
Achievements replacing re-playability.
I deem this as the big negative point for both of the more recent Batman games.
