HAHAHA! Sounds like when our cousins GF used to babysit me and my brother and she feed him ketchup sandwiches and he like them. I think I didn't like them. Too sweet.

Be sure to have some kind of fat along with your salad so you get all the benefits of the fat-soluble vitamins that are in the salad itself. If you don't ingest fats with them, you don't absorb them. Pre-existing love handles won't do the trick!  It doesn't have to be dressing, either. It could be a glass of whole milk, or a slice of cheese on the side, or even some nuts. I don't know what the ratio is of necessary fats to your green leafies, though.
I never do salad dressing anymore, personally. I will cook up some bacon slices and eat that with it, or grate some cheese. Bleu cheese crumbles and steak slices in a salad is omgpureheaven 
Mustard sounds pretty tasty too. I love mustard!

And Reap, I think I may like mustard just as much as you. I used to do the tuna,mustard,bread for a a tunafish sandwich. Hell, I used to have plain mustard sandwiches.

One of my daughters used to do that, but with mayo. I used to make her cheese sandwiches and one day she asked for a cheese sandwich, but "without any cheese". I was like..."so you just want the mayonnaise on the bread?" "  es please" "Ok then..." It graduated from there to "mayonnaise toast". Lasted about six months and then she got tired of it lol.

I would try that, I love mustard. It would probably go well with green olives in the salad too, which I usually put in if I have them around.

Ranch is OK, and it's bad for me. My favorite is Bleu Cheese and it is even worse. I don't like vinegar and oil, but even that has a lot of fat. Not with mustard though.
you should check out yogurt based salad dressings
I've tried the ranch one and it's really good.
