I don't need either but when the time comes I will only wear glasses. I FREAK OUT when things approach my eyes, so there is no way I'll be able to put a contact in or take one out. I'll just have to deal with glasses.

Contacts by far... my glasses always seem to get smudges or specks on them even if I don't touch them at all with my fingers, so I'd rather see the world clearly. Contacts are very comfortable nowadays.. I do plan on getting LASIK eventually though.

Didnt see that in any page that I looked at but I have never managed to get the same frames prescription change to prescription change -- that I go almost a decade between trips to the eye doctor doesnt help.
Was $1100(total) from lenscrafters for my glasses and sunglasses even with the AAA 30% discount thing.

I use both. I don't need them for distance but I hate using reading glasses all the time so I got bifocal glasses and contacts.

and I tried contacts, I don't like the upkeep, so I wear glasses (or would wear glasses if I didn't break my last pair 3 years ago, and never bothered to get new ones. I still passed my drivers licenses eye exam without it (except the Cs look like Qs or O but whatever I passed.)
