I can't believe there isn't more talk of Wades hit on Kobe, breaking his nose. For an all-star game with "no defense", that foul was completely uncalled for
He didn't intend to hit him in the face. It's obvious on the replays he was trying to wrap him up and just hit him in the nose on accident.
But you probably think it was intentional. and there will be no convincing you otherwise.

Even in college ball they got far too lax on calls. If they actually called everything properly I'd probably still watch it.

Sounds like you just want a sport with lots of rules.

there was a low light i saw of Pierce that i was surprised they didn't call a foul on...kind of hooked and turned the guy and nothing.
i find it odd though people are saying they enjoyed seeing the skill showcase.
any one of them can shoot uncontested and even barely contested...that's not really skill, and that is what a lot of that game was.
how many times did Love remove himself from the paint so someone could go in for a dunk?
sure there were moments of D and flashed of great contested moves, but it was not the norm for the game.

Dunks will always seem more impressive in a game context.

i agree there, but when the D just steps out of the way completely, you might as well just watch the dunk contest.
and before i get accused of being an NBA hater for looking at it this way, i think the ProBowl, the all star game of the sport i love the most, is complete trash as well for the same reasons i was unimpressed with yesterday.
