Title says it all. I need a new set of headphones. I prefer noise cancelling for planes and other busy areas.
Willing to spend about $250.00.
I like over the ear headphones, not earbuds.
What's good?

Its not noise canceling but its a closed headphone.

He's not buying Beats, Skullcandies or Bose so they probably won't be "overpriced" but rather...reasonably priced for the performance they deliver.

Bose Quiet Comfort 15
Best noise-cancelling headphones I've ever experienced. Literally flip the switch and the outside world is 110% silent.
Wear them on airplanes all the time too, can't hear a thing.

100 dollar noise cancelling headphones are enough for me. it's enough noise dampening so you don't have to destroy your hearing like the millions of people seem to be doing these days. honestly what is the premier hearing aid company, i want to invest.
i don't want to be totally deaf to the world either, I live in the city and hearing things is important.
