I don't think there was any light until the first stars were created, and that was several hundred thousand years after the Big Bang. But don't quote me on that. I'm not an astrophysicist, I'm just a jerk on the internet.

Black holes are but wormholes to other galaxies... What gets sucked out of one black hole is being pushed out of another entity that is as of yet unnamed.

Nobody knows what happens inside a black hole, nobody except Caledric. Stephen Hawking has him on speed dial and they exchange text messages all the time, BFFs.

Opinion = fact. Anecdote = proof. Political label more important than either of those.
Welcome to ACF, where debate goes to die.

Black holes are not "holes". They don't lead to another universe, create new universes or house the Easter Bunny. Popular stupidty focuses on the word "hole" and misses that it is not a exact description.
They are masses, like planets, stars, etc. The only difference is that there is so much mass in that area and gravity is so high as a result, that even light is pulled in.

Maybe but that is how Neil deGrasse explained it, and I think he is a little bit smarter than you.

I don't think that dude was being serious but yeah...wormholes are just a theoretical concept, we don't know if they exist. Black holes definitely exist, we can view them indirectly and measure the effects on their surroundings.
