Hah, I used to love this. It was hilarious seeing TR/NC use lashers. Easy kills because they thought the lasher was easy.

I hated the lasher because the clip was small. I'd always get the Vanu n00bs when they needed to reload.

Depends on what version of the lasher you're talking about. The small clip one actually lashed well, so you could occasionally get some cheap kills without hitting someone directly. However, anyone worth a s*** required you to hit them on most every shot, which is where skill with the lasher matters. I mean, you could kill baddies without too many direct hits, but I could kill them easily with a Suppressor as well. The current lasher has more shots, higher orb speed, but almost no lash.

Yeah I played PS YEARS ago, no idea what revisions they've made since.
Back then the Lasher was stricly for hallway/corridor mop up duties. Taking it outside to shoot punks hiding behind trees was futile. The lashes would travel so SLOOOOW.

My outfit leader/friend is probably the most recognized lasher user in PS history. The old lasher was really good in certain circumstances and completely sucked at range. The new one is kind of meh all around, I'll take an MCG over it any day.
