2 days of travel turned into 5...pretty much the perfect storm of cluster****. But I did get to stay in Hawaii for a day and Okinawa for a day n a half...pretty awesome. Other bright side was because we were so behind schedule as soon as we landed for the "mandatory" train-up before coming in country our plane was already coming to get us so we skipped 3-4 days of BS. In Afghanistan now, snow on the ground, not as cold as Indiana though. The elevation is pretty nasty. Culture is obviously a bit shocking, being around all the natives that work here is making me paranoid, hah.
Still not at our final destination yet, but getting closer. Can't wait to get away from the big bases, I am not liking being around so many people...
Thanks for the offer krieg, but those books sound a bit advanced!
