IF you think they are, you are a total dumbass. I am not calling names. I stand by that statement. We all laugh at conspiracy theory nuts who think that a million government employees who dont communicate can ALL be in on something, but you guys dont bat an eye when someone straight up claims that the millions and millions of gay people are just part of a conspiracy to gay-ify america, and not just doing whats natural. Seriously, it's beyond paranoid. Conservatives care MORE about what gay people do than the actual gay people. I'll tell you what, i have never kissed a girl in public to make a statement about the acceptability of heterosexuality. I have, in fact, ONLY kissed a girl in public because whatever was going on at the time inspired me to kiss her. Thinking that gay people are any different is effing stupid. And IF that is what you do, I don't mind calling you out on it one bit.
EDIT: LOL Rho in classic form. You make an indefensible point, and when confronted with the facts, you make a vague content-free comment about how you aren't understood to appear wise. "some people when they think something, dont really know what they think." or something equally vapid. Does anyone else notice how at a certain point Rho stops actually saying ANYTHING and just starts making those lil "truisms." So how about this, rather than saying something without content, point out to me what assumptions I made that dont actually line up with your views, actually SAY something

I don't necessarily blame the couples in the pictures for being purposely-overt in their PDA for any reasons other than mutual affection. What *is* clear is that the re-posting re-forwarding and viral spreading of the images on the net are often accompanied by specific language that clearly explains the image's presence as attempting to make a social and/or political statement. A statement that I'm weary of hearing.

Turn on the TV. Open a magazine. Go to almost any type of event. Hell, freaking read ACF: Look at her boobs. I'd hit McCain's daughter. Etc. Bunch of straight men "flaunting" their straightness. Almost every moment of every day I am confronted by heterosexuals.
Yet straight people claim WE are the ones flaunting our sexuality. Apparently, we should just post about the hot chick we banged at the club last night.
