Been hanging out with this amazing woman for a couple of years(not sexual, I'm dating someone I really like, this is just a friend). She is a BLAST! Funny, smart, Hot, quick witted, all around fun to know. My girlfriend likes her, my friends like her, she is the bomb and shite.
Anyway, my buddy is really into her and has a HUGE crush going on. Cool. I think they make a good match. He is smart and funny, but socially awkward and sorta a derp. She is socially queen god damn bee, everyone loves this chick, but she has made it clear to me she is interested in him, wherein lies the problem....
I could easily fix them up, both trust me and look to me for advice often (scary, but true) BUT....
She is sort of a "free spirit" as in, she has been naked with a LOT of guys. He is sort of a "virgin", only 2 or 3 women I know of he has slept with. He is also pretty much a prude.
So, I could get my friends laid (both of them, with each other) and hope for the best, or I could warn them away from each other and keep the guy from getting all butthurt and crazy when she doesn't instantly want to marry him (as he is absolutely going to want to do if they sleep with each other), or I could just stay the hell out of it, but what fun is that?
I suck as a sensei.
How about this:
Tell them both the truth about the other person and let them figure it out on their own.

If I leave it up to them, she will screw him silly, then bitch when he doesn't call her. He will bitch and moan about the "fact" that women never call him after he meets them. (neither one will ever think THEY might actually call the other one)
These aren't well adjusted, sane adults, they are outliers, the weird, the unusual, the freaks.
I'm just trying to help them get "normal".....actually, I'm just trying to feel ok about not being them. I woke up after I posted this, and realized I don't really give a damn, but thanks for the advice.  |

Anyone living near or coming near East Tennessee is more than welcome.
I have a "party house". Usually have at least 20 people (usually more like 60) in and out every Saturday night. Come join the fun. No peeing in the pool or going in the garage however, other than that, your limits are my limits.
BTW, I highly doubt they will ever get together unless I push it. He is too clueless to make a move, and she is too used to being moved upon to consider she might have to work a bit herself. Mutual frustration and anger result. Not good, but them getting together probably wont be good either. I need to meet a nun for him and reincarnate Wilt Chamberlain for her...
