My mom ran barefoot to my sister's mailbox and back in an Alaskan winter, it was at least -40.

My son has Raynaud's as well. After moving to Vermont I discovered I had a predisposition for Chilblains. No running thru the snow here either.

The worst for her was sports. Early morning soccer killed her. So cold. Nothing helped warm her up. She'll be 30 this month and it does seem to be better.

Never have run barefoot in the snow but I have stood in it barefoot just to cool my feet off. And in the snow we had yesterday I was walking around in it in nothing but my sandals. Very happy feet!

Haha yeah, now I have to go find the pic! High school friend had a hot-tub outside... got a body rush jumping out of the tub into the snow, somewhere around here I have a pic of me running through the snow in my swimsuit with a trail of steam. I'll see if I can dig it up for giggles.
Couldn't find the pic I was thinking of, instead found a different one (keep in mind it is from the 80's lol.... and yes I have a muppet mouth )
Now that's an awesome pic! Hottie in the snow!!
I've only made small dashes barefoot in the snow - I can't imagine doing an actual "run" barefoot in the snow. That's crazy right there.

My sister was joking around with her that she couldn't be a real Alaskan until she did it, so she did. My sister was all "holy crap, I didn't think you'd actually do it!" when she got back.
