If you spray your shovel with PAM, the snow doesn't stick.
Laugh all you want. Try it next time you shovel and see how much easier it is.

also, shovel with your knees bent a little bit.. almost into a crouch.. make your legs strong, and saves your back

when I was younger, I would put the handle of the shovel on my stomach, and push.
I wouldn't suggest this if you have a 'cracked' driveway, or if you are shoveling sidewalks.
it makes for an interesting shovel when you could randomly get winded at anytime

I've never had to shovel snow. I think the most snow I've seen at once was like 5 inches, and I was a little kid...and it always starts melting by the end of the day...and EVERYTHING shuts down when it snows, so it's not like anyone needs to shovel it away, because no one is leaving anyways.
