Sure. I mean after all, health insurance covers checkups, well-visits, immunizations, and other routine health maintenance care, so why shouldn't auto insurance cover this aspect of vehicle maintenance?

Health insurance doesn't cover healthy food or vitamins, but then auto insurance doesn't cover gasoline either.

Well maybe it all should be covered. Especially with gasoline going up to $4! We should be able to get as much as we want for the same insurance rates we pay now!

If the politicians can loot with wild abandon and given the accelerating economic decay of the country, sure why not.

True, cars are more important than people. People rank somewhere below a Tercel

It makes about as much sense as covering contraceptives with health insurance.

You obviously have no clue what auto insurance is or what it does. It won't cover a breakdown, let alone maintenance.

If you choose catastrophic health insurance then no, birth control shouldn't be covered. As you're insured against an emergency situation, accident or serious health issue only.

If you choose whole health insurance, yes birth control should be covered, like a warranty package covers all things that go wrong with a car over the life of the coverage.

You obviously have no clue what the word "should" means.
