Wtf?
They are everywhere now all the sudden. They cover both exits to every grocery store. Also, I don't know if this is a new tactic, but at least 3 of them I've encountered have had the "special" girl scout, one moaned something at me and the mom repeated in english, and another just yelled multiple times at me that they were selling cookies.
I feel bad, not only do I not want to buy cookies, but I also don't want to feel guilt for not buying cookies from some mentally disabled girl.

They were here for a while for a few weeks until I started telling them about this mystic land called "washington" where there's no income tax and they only eat girl scout cookies

I was part of a girl scout cookie sale once. All the cookies came to me directly, so I ended up with stacks and stacks that covered several walls in my parents' house. I had to hand deliver everything I sold. Do they still do that? I would guess,(hope) they go straight to customers now?
Also I heard the new cookies aren't as good anymore... any truth to this? Recipe changes or something?

They prey on natural human guilt to get to me to overpay for cookies that, if I don't eat I feel bad, and if I do eat I feel bad.
Vultures man. I'm training myself to be immune to their guilt marketing.

Buy them as gifts. You feel good buying them and gifting them. Let someone else deal with the "bad".

op you lucky sob  , i haven't had a girl scout cookie in years, because they don't operate here in the boonies . they seem to be more suburban and also only places they do this in nyc are rich kids.

We bought some a year or 2 ago and I remember them not tasting quite as good as we remembered. Either we got a bad batch or they changed something,(recipe/factories/who knows).

I bought my two boxes for the year. they came down in price by a dollar this year, which is weird...
I sold them as a kid, was $1 a box back then. I sold 100 boxes on my own, door to door.
