Damn. That leaves Fringe (prob won't last past this season, maybe 1 more if their lucky) as the only sci-fi show on TV? Lame.

We need a new Star Trek TV show, Seth MacFarlane said he wanted to do it, Paramount needs to get that sh*t going.

This is the main reason I was willing to watch not-so-great sci-fi. Lack of options. Waiting for a couple shows to return on HBO, sticking by almost anything BBC/A. BBC has the best track record so far.

I am guessing the reality TV craze will come to a close eventually. So many channels I used to enjoy have been sucked into this hell hole. A lot of these channels will pick the crappiest show they have and put it on marathon for 18+ hours. They're not even trying!

There are crap ton of fantasy/super/paranormal shows. Why can't we have a sci-fi show? Freaking SyFy doesn't even have a sci-fi show.

I watched that show on Hulu and was hoping for a second season, so if anyone wants to blame me for its demise, go ahead. I have a positively stellar track record of getting any show cancelled I take an interest in.

I am also in the running for herald of doom when it comes to TV shows. If I like it -- it dies -- every time.

What it is really time for is a new "Outer Limits" or "Twilight Zone" show.

Been way too long since Outer Limits on Sho then Sci Fi went away.

I agree with you on the lack of sci-fi. And for the record I don't count any of those ghost hunting or paranormal "reality" crap as anything but CRAP. It isn't Sci-fi. SyFy needs to get new management and better programming and bring back the old name.

Show was interesting to the point that after I stopped watching it, I forgot about it.

I feel that is a common perception of the show. Too forgettable. Story that could have been better combined with no great characters equals cancelled show.

Damn. I kind of liked this show. Just for the setting mostly though, it had some pretty piss poor writing.

Someone mentioned a while back that the current head of the SyFy network hates Science Fiction, and that's why they have all the crap like Wrestling and Ghost Hunter garbage that they do now.

Ive resorted to dling and rewatching the Xena: Warrior princess series for "decent" fantasy shows. Its very very cheesy at times and have whole seasons that stink for the most part but the good episdes are really REALLY great. Im not ashamed to admit I bawled my eyes out over the two part series finale. It was SO freaking sad.

I have every episode of Buffy, and I re-watch seasons randomly when I need a "fix". And I'll watch SG-1 every single time I see it on TV.

the current head of Syfy as someone already said hates sci-fi hence the crappy programming.

Terra Nova was terrible.

I stopped watching after about 5 episodes. Wife still does though I got bored with it.
I hope Falling Skys keeps it interesting!
