I know a few AF pilots there now. Called one the other day thinking he was home to look at his boat and he says "I in Hawaii, it's overcast". Guess I won't be so jealous now

But I know what its like. Was on the big Island 6-8 years ago and was driving around the island. Stopped in Hilo and ran through buckets of water falling off the roofs to get to the saturday market. A little bit after we left and went back to the other side of the island, the roads into Hilo up and washed away, leaving some people staying at our resort stuck there for the night. Had 30" of rain in 24 hours there. Was cool to see!
