Believe that number is spawned from the first time you post on IGN...
We are all hoping we get to keep our registration dates in the merge...but no details on if that'll happen.

Still having major issues though, now when I come to vn, I'm logged out, then when I try to log in, I'm able to through IGn, but I'm still logged out when I go to vn again.

It was an issue/bug caused over the FB login, it's being sorted or something.
And if you are on IGN boards it messes up with old profiles over here a bit, so when you come back you're logged out - but you actually aren't, just keep refreshing the board and you'll be fine.
