Republicans want to murder higher education because that enforces their plutocracy. In their mind everybody in the world should work for the owners of the plantation, and they are the owners. You have a very wealthy, educated elite who own the plantations, gain almost all of the wealth created by the plantations, and a slave worker underclass that they can buy, sell, barter, and discard to their whim.

College has already been simplified to the point where there are kids in our universities that have no business being there. Not everyone is cut out to be a college student. We still need carpenters, roofers, plumbers, ditch diggers, cashiers, etc....
Obama wanting everyone to have a college degree is just him trying to earn some political points with young people.

Obama wants everyone to have education, that doesn't necessarily mean a college degree, but trade schools and tech schools and colleges all together.
You may not have noticed, but many of the things you listed above are jobs you actually need skills for.

Thats not true at all. Romney has TWICE the Harvard degrees as Obama.
Oh wait, Republicans dont like him either
