really? you have no idea what really happens in africa do you, and i would bet you probably really don't want to know. i bet to you africa is a bunch of happy carefree people dancing around in dashikis.
if people really knew what it is like in africa (the murder, rape, torture, slavery all on scales that americans can not imagine or stomach) the last thing they would want is to be associated with the continent. instead they hide their head in the sand and proclaim proudly i am an african-american but in reality have no clue a to the horrors that exist and will always exist on the continent.
