It is even suggested that a beard is a sign of a strong immune system. The theory goes that disease-carrying parasites thrive in body hair
and so if a man can sport a beard without getting ill, he must be extra healthy.

I have had beards but after a while the hair gets long enough and it starts to curl. This is when it gets itchy and I usually trim it back down to stubble.
I never clean shave anymore unless I have too.

I can not grow a beard.
Probably the speck of Native American ancestry I have. I have patchy facial hair, but it's like 15 year old patchy AND blonde, so it's basically invisible.

The SO has a beard and I think he looks weird without it. I like beards as long as they are well groomed.
