I agree, and I do so without any need to justify its use. the negative consequences of marijuana abuse are a real thing and don't have to be ignored to consider the possibility that making something illegal and enforcing that law is more deleterious on society than letting it be.
I will go further. frankly, I think a majority of the prison population have what should be considered biological diseases. Surely, it is a better framework of understanding than moralizing all behavior. dude, you're going to say we can't treat them because we don't have the technology or understanding. Still, I think it is what we should aspire to even when you see all the ethical dilemmas that come with forced treatment. Sorry for the way this paragraph is written. I could not help myself. I am just lucky my impulsiveness is expressed in this positive way, I guess.

I think we should just start shooting anyone caught with marijuana right then and there. no trial, no questions asked... just shoot them in the head and clear out the gene pool.
