anyone who wears boots of any kind for any length of time wears tube socks...if you don't, you get the skin rubbed off the back of your feet and your calves.
and lol @ throwing socks away after one use...spoiled much?

Generations of my ancestors worked and struggled their entire lives....to enable me to throw away socks after I wear them once.
I'm not going to diss their sacrifice and discount their efforts by feeling bad about being the beneficiary of all that work.
I hope, some day in the future, my great, great, great grandkids are filthy rich assholes.....and they sit around waxing poetic about the fact that they only drive a car once....then throw it away.
I'll be long dead and forgotten, but a little piece of me will still be going on.

 i totally do! i have to take one out to use on my prosthesis leg but i don't change that sock unless i change shoes and there's a hole.. that i notice.
