trade me -- i am in afghanistan -- and my wife got a jury summons for me


i called to ask to be excused and they said i do not qualify for exemption (because i am not military)

then i called the transportation office and told them that i lack the resources to get there -- they refused to provide transportation


so .. i guess they expect me to fork out $2,500 for plane tickets, or risk a $1,000 fine and a bench warrant


a warrant would endanger my security clearance and cause me to lose my job
