I do like German cars, this one I am talking about is a 1995 Mercedes E320 with over 200k miles now... I think it has served its time

Still a toss up between Infiniti and Hyundai though. A Lexus IS 250 or 350 wouldn't be too shabby though... but like you said they're practically just an overpriced Toyota

Or, you could not be a dumbass and get an Audi S4 or a Subaru STi?

The dealership I live by just got a new STi in... they sent me a letter to come test drive it .

(They are the only dealer in the state that lets you test drive STi's with out putting money down as collateral in case you wreck it on the test drive.)

Seems like the throttle was just stuck, gonna drop it by the repair shop after work today and get them to take a look at it. It wasn't stuck when I went home

The situation was that I didn't drive it all this weekend, I started it today and the throttle/engine was really slow and sluggish. Well I guess I put my foot down too fast and this might have been what caused it to stick a little and not be able to release it? We shall find out. I didn't think I did anything with it not out of the ordinary

squirt some throttle body cleaner on the cable, and in the throttle body.

and make sure your floor rug didn't move up and cause the problem.

usually with an actual stuck throttle, what you want to do is floor it for a second and release, but obviously you can't do that if you're rapidly approaching an intersection. Now that you're aware of what can happen, you'll likely be quicker to think about shifting to neutral.

Yep =\ I shouldn't have left it there. I am sure that's all that went wrong with it but I am not 100% sure

I should have checked if it was just gunked up, I don't know why I need to send it to the shop if that's all it is, I could've done it myself after I looked up how to do it on the mercedesforums. I guess at least this lets me know another thing to check before just dumping it in a mechanic shop

I don't mean I was going like 90 mph or anything, the intersection isn't a light intersection, it's a intersection of entrances to two apartment complexes in one way and a road the other, one of the cars I would've hit was parked. Still dangerous though, there was a dude walking around but he was well safe away. It wasn't that bad though, I spent more time trying to ruin my breaks going back to my parking lot though.

I guess I sort of dramatized this way too much after reading it more... I'm more excited to have an excuse to start looking for a new car
