Think I'm gonna go with OptionsHouse. Only $4 for stock trades and a free Kindle Fire. Sounds solid...
Go with TD AMeritrade, they'll give you $600. You can buy your own kindle fire and a bottle of scotch to mix with your sprite.
It takes $25k just to get $100 of that $600 and $250k to get the full amount. I'll stick with the $10k minimum and $4 trades...
WTF, their commercials are misleading. Yeah, sounds like a better promo with OptionsHouse. So, what you gonna trade? Stocks, or options?

Most of it will go into an Index Fund ETF. I really think very few people are making a wise choice in trying to beat the market and my limited time to try certainly excludes me from that group.
A smaller portion will go into a few specific long term stocks I'm willing to take a chance on. The rest will be a small amount I'm willing to gamble with for the fun of speculating...
Edit:
Speculating will be stocks for now. I'm not familiar enough with options to justify experimenting with them but maybe in the next year or two I'll take some time to read up on it.

Simple question. I like USAA's other services but their investment accounts suck. Looking for suggestions...
They have my brokerage account, as well.
I don't do a lot of trading, so their tools aren't a big factor.

It's really their fee schedule more than anything. Brokerage wasn't too bad but it's still an extra $4 a trade and even more on other trading options. The IRA was really killing me though. I don't like the USAA funds and there's no way to set up automatic contributions (let alone the $50 fee for each contribution) to non-USAA funds.
It's a shame because I really like them for everything else and it's nice having everything in one place...
