I'm looking forward to making a friggen FORTUNE reselling all the guns I have purchased over the last couple of years to crazed nut cases convinced that Democrats are going to make them illegal....just like the Democrats did when Clinton was President and when Obama first took office.
Seriously, a HP I purchased a couple years ago for 400 bucks new will be going for 1500 bucks used to the conspiracy nuts living around here.
I'll be happy to pay the taxes on my profits as well. Nothing like making money and supporting my country at the same time.

This thread disproves that argument. We almost had a breakthrough. It's seems the road to recovery will be harder for you that I thought.
Actually this thread proves my argument. You are the one that has the problem. You hate political threads, yet you are so addicted you cant stay out of the clearly titled political threads you hate. That'd be a problem for you, not for me. I can easily avoid the threads I dont want to post in or read about.
You can probably get into a 12 step program, they have those for everything now.

That and turning health care into a regulated industry.
I'm also looking forward to Scalia and/or Thomas to retire/buy the farm. The conservatives might start crashing jumbo jets into skyscrapers to prevent Obama from apointing another liberal justice.

Thomas is 63. He could still be there for a very long time.
Scalia just turned 76, but he seems to be in reasonable health for his age. He could hold on until the next president in 2016.
For democrats, keeping a democrat in the white house in regards to SCOTUS appointments is mostly about stopgap. Ginsburg is 79 and looks every second of her age. Breyer is younger than Scalia at 73, but looks like he could be Scalia's dad. Both of them are expected to retire soon.
Kennedy is 75, and yes it would be nice to replace him with a true liberal as well.

And Obama gets re-elected?
With how much The Great Benefactor had already done with the GOP roadblocks I can only imagine the greatness once the dems control everything here shortly.
He had unfettered control of two branches of the federal government for 2 years. All he accomplished in that time was to literally piss away almost a trillion dollars in mispent stimulus money and pass the greatest government action against individual since Roosevelts NRO. And judging by this weeks SCOTUS sessions it will probably be following the NRO into history in much the same way.

Only no one really knows if the bailout and stimulus had not been spent how better off we'd be, kind of like how much better off we were off, when Hoover let things run their course and we ended up with the Great Depression.
But I do blame the politicizing of the Supreme Court on FDR.
Up or down vote for appointees I am sick of holding the positions hostage, and that goes for both parties.

Yes well he had to be mindful of being reelected. Can't get 4 more years if you commit political suicide. Sacrifice 2 years to rule unfettered for 4 seems to be the way he went.

turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.
