Do you bring the gifts to the wedding and just throw them in a pile?
I'm not very good at these things, I've been to like 2 weddings.

some people bring gifts, some people have them sent directly to the couple before the wedding... but I think the sent gifts are generally from people not able to attend the wedding.

I meant a gift registry. I thought generally most weddings picked a place to list what items they wanted say at like Macy's or w/e.

You should offer to pay for their wedding. They'll say no of course but offering would be your gift to them for being so generous

I think Kordin is correct. There's usually some sector inside the wedding perimeter thats assigned to receive and warehouse gifts. Might be in the form of a table

They owe me $500. I would rather bring a martha stewart collection piece of crap instead of being like "yeah that money is your wedding gift"
