No way I'd drop that kind of money. A buck or two is good value for the day dreaming, anything more than that is too much.

It becomes a habit though. Once you convince yourself that throwing away a few bucks on lottery tix is ok, you can easily do it habitually. My bro has been playing the lotto for years and has never won anything.

never had that problem...i cant remember the last time we bought tickets for one of these.
and that's not because i drink too much (wife's words, not mine)!!

Only time I ever play is when either the powerball or the mega-millions goes over 300m. And really that's only one less drink at the bar for me. Not a big deal.
