I notice inflation. When I was a kid you could buy a 2 liter soda bottle for 99 cents. Today, a 24 oz soda bottle costs 1.69 cents.
When I was a kid $5 would fill this up, but now it only will fill this up.

Yes. Although it has gotten better in the last 3-4 months. There are more homes being purchased and less that are appearing abandoned (although someone told me that banks have to mow foreclosures now), and I have had a HUGE increase in clients getting jobs. In our one program over 25% have jobs whereas when I first started 0 had jobs. So that has been noticeably improved. Even the jobs that are being posted that I see are more numerous, better paying, and larger variety.

My lifestyle doesn't seem to change, no. But I do notice price changes.
This. I don't notice a big difference in those around me either.

Similar here, with the houses at least. Not sure if it's the warmer weather as well, but more seem to be selling and more quickly than before.
Apart from that, I didn't really notice anything in my personal day-to-day life, except rising prices. However, at work we noticed it, since we're a business to business association. Less advertisers, and the ones who were advertising were often buying smaller ads in our magazine, less memberships in the association in general, etc. However, in the last year or so things have really started looking up and people are buying more, advertising more, getting more involved, etc. Our particular industry is a little unusual compared to the rest of the US, though.
