George Takei announced a new Star Trek movie entitled 'Excelsior' where he will play the main role as the Captain... I was really excited until I read the comments and realized it was a joke

I was listening to the radio earlier and the conversation was kinda funny.
Radio Announcer: If you played an April fools joke on someone or someone played one on you call in and lets hear it.
Woman: Hey, are you still doing the April fools thing?
RA: Yes... Did you play a joke on someone or did someone.. (gets cut off)
Woman: I played a joke on my boyfriend....
RA: Okay so what did you do?
Woman: I told him that his ex girlfriend sent me pictures of him, even though she didn't, but before he got to far I had to stop him because he was starting to try and explain himself.
RA: oh.... were these old pictures or recent ones
Woman: Recent I think.
RA: oh... well I'm not sure who really got fooled... you should probably break up with him... *song begins* Here's Gotye and Someone I Used To Know.
Either that was perfect timing (both that I was about to turn off the radio and that song just happened to be lined up next) or the RA decided to be funny.
