Some of the epic battles that Sunflower and I had here.
Seeing the island post that started off the AC friends boards.
Being part of this board when it started and now seeing how fucked up it is...way to go everyone!!! jk..
Trust me it was fucked up back then also...even more.

Way too much stuff. All the FF crew and the drama that happened there - Sandy Cheeks, Hisba, Big_Wiz, When Zuizide first started his massive XP chain, macro threads, Kellin not giving Ibbeh the goddamn bodice pics, PMing with Lynea, Clint and his modding, Southern, Lowtax, Palum's thread...then ACF and all the political trolling, pictures of boo's dick, some saucy pictures of Brynwen, making people laugh, HIOFI threads, my 80k thread, the chart, various meltdowns...so much more crap I'm forgetting.

What are your best memories of the VN Boards? |
I came over here as somewhat of a refugee from the DAoC Lancelot boards. Those boards were pretty much dead many years ago so I nearly quit VN all together. I miss those boards the most because they maintained a community inside and outside the game. A type of community which I think has become rarer and rarer with how most games operate these days. Ultimately, the social aspect is the only good take away from a game. There's too much focus on min and maxing, dps addons, all that fancy crap. I'll take a shitty game with a good community over some streamlined crap any day.
But what I found here was a place full of action, over the top personalities and generally a decent group. I liked posting here. The free-for-all posting adds a lot of variety and let's people bring their own interests to a group of unruly strangers. That's what makes boards like this special, it's like spam with a purpose. So I hope a decent chunk of the people here continue to post on ACF4 or VN refugee or even this new IGN deal. Communities like this are a sign of something good.
