EDIT: That also reminds me of a friend I had back when I lived in L.A. She crashed with me for a few nights between apartment moves, and she was a lesbian. So, being from Hawaii, one morning I made spam for breakfast (along with other things cause I knew she wasn't a spam person, never tried it).

Well I convinced her to try some, and she wasn't a fan, cause it was too salty for her, but she said the taste overall wasn't bad. Later that day (this was when BBS-ing was running rampant back in the mid 90's) she chats that she tried spam.

One of her friends IMMEDIATELY 'whispered' to her...

"What the F***!!!!! You won't let any body part of a man in there, but you'll put SPAM in your mouth????"

She and I just about DIED laughing.
