I've avoided making a disposal, right now I just toss stuff down a set of stairs I never use. In the past I've done them with a trapdoor lid and a button to open the trap as well as half slabs to prevent walking into it.
Acery has a nice design, it looks real open but the half slabs block you from walking into it.
 No danger of walking into this at all.
Sucks though, losing diamond gear alone sucks let alone enchanted stuff.

I guess it's time I try the multiplayer in this game.
Couple questions.
1) How do I run the *.jar file? I've been playing Minecraft using a standard executable but get an error when trying to run the javascript 1.9 file.
EDIT: OK, figured out how to use the *.jar file but now I get an error saying it's outdated when trying to join the server. What version is being run?
2) How do I get white-listed?

Have you guys experimented with Iris Doors at all?
I ended up having a fair bit of fun making one the other night... and they're not to hard to work out if you're sticking to 2x2 or 3x3 with a hole in the center.
That center block though... jesus...
