LA has a deeper rotation and a deeper bench.
Rangers don't have an out in the lineup, and if Darvish produces as advertised, the rotation/bullpen is very nice.
outside of Fielder/Miggy, Detroit has some holes.
Rotation wise, they have Verlander.. but.. who else? Is it plausible for Valverde to have a repeat season? maybe.. but doubtful.

I agree on Valverde, but Detroits rotation is solid, though Fister is on the DL, and Between Fielder,Avila, Miggy Peralta, Boesch and Jackson, they have very few glaring holes in the lineup. Detroits offense is good enough to overcome any pitching downfalls IMO.

but it's not good enough to overcome pitching downfalls against an offense of the Rangers or Angels(Angels are more up in the air though. If Trout comes in a produces, along with Trumbo and Morales finding roles in the lineup.)

I think Detroit is on equal footing with The Angels, I think the Rangers are still best in the AL though. I have a man-crush on Ian Kinsler.

One of the best in the MLB imo. the Napoli pickup was a great move imo.
