So, what will be the cash limit (currently about 213k)?
How much can you transfer with a toon (currently 20k)?

The limit for characters was raised to 1 million gold. The limit for guild banks was lowered to 1 million. These changes went live with 4.0.
The transfer limit is still 20k.

You can get creative about transferring gold. Like using your gold to create Choppers and transfer those and sell them on your new server.

When I was transfering to a different server a couple years ago, I made a char on the server I was going to and checked out the hot buys on the AH. It just so happend that there was a large difference in the price of of some main items between the two servers.
I bought low and sold high in a big way

be careful tho choppers don't even sell for mats price on my server. people get part of the mats free from ulduar or something i think? so they try to sell for under mats.
