Only become Real ID friends with people who have the Authenticator, and disable the "see friends of friends" on the Real ID options in your account management, so no one else can see your name but your Real ID friend.
Problem potentially solved, me thinks.

You must have an authenticator to add this person as your Real-ID friend.
