Hubby wanted to explore the new alliance zones, didn't have enough slots, so we rolled 2 dwarf pallys on our alternative server.

Doing the holiday quests to get cooking and exp, shuttling back and forth to Darnassus, Gingerbeer (my dwarf) discovers that Blizz likes to treat her like a doughnut in hot coffee... every time she steps off the boat in Rut'theran Village onto the dock, she slips through into the drink and has to swim ashore.

Nothing like Soggy Gingerbeer and wet smelly Dwarf with cranberry sauce to make the holidays complete!

Anybody else having this problem?

Are her legs too short and I need to get a horse?

My gnome used to drown in a puddle in CoT. Nothing quite compares to that.

Jumping doesn't appear to work either.

Going to test on a different dwarf... (I have a vague memory of something similar happening years ago.) Deja pool.

Yup. Dock doesn't meet the boat. There's gap. Horse = ok. Walking does not. Watch your step!

This thread brought to you by the letter's "O" and "K" and the phrase, "The OP is bored."
