the locations for quest are often wrong

anyone notice this in cataclysm? the marks on the map for quest objectives are often wrong. is blizzard trying to make us think again like in old style mmorpgs or is it just a blunder on their part?

ive noticed this as well...but i would say Blizz has about a 95% success rate on the locations.

I've encountered this twice. But, the one that sticks out is the gnome flyer's location in Loch Modan. He still shows near the shore, but he is actually inside the Lodge.
Otherwise, the remaining quests, from my limited experience in the Classic lands, appears fairly on target.

For the most part, I haven't had any issues with the quest marker's being in the wrong places. But I noticed a weird bug in Eastern Plaguelands. As you do the quests around the towers and gain rep with the NPC's there (I think it's Argent Crusade), and then travel the caravan, the new areas show the NPC's in yellow. But then as you click on them, they turn green. It's a little weird at first, but I sort of got used to it.

also when im running around the world it randomly puts me in combat...then a few seconds later takes me out of combat. no mobs anywhere around me and i didn't get hit or anything. its really weird. lots of dumb bugs in cataclysm. nothing game breaking but still i would never have expected this sort of stuff considering past quality.

I've encountered this in Desolace like nobody's business. Really sucked when I sat down for a food buff and was forced to stand because of this bug.

yes it has wasted so much food for me too! and also as a rogue it unstealths me...annoying when i am sneaking in between a dozen horde and it does that...every 30 seconds to boot.
